Muriels artwork has been displayed at exhibitions with UMASS Dartmouth.

The large pieces are porcelain and stoneware and were fired in a reduction atmosphere. This type of firing causes the elements in both the clay and the glaze to interact causing a unique appearance in the piece. The large pieces were thrown on the wheel with some forms having coil additions.
